The first Westwood kids clothing swap! The idea of this is simple, bring the clothes, shoes, etc your kids have outgrown and trade them for the sizes you need! This is totally free, I plan to host this at my house so the kids can play on our playground while we “shop”! Let’s be kinder to the environment, our bank accounts, and not stimulate Trumps economy at the same time!
I will be keeping a spreadsheet of sizes expected to be there, I’m also collecting things myself to share in various larger sizes as I know those may be scarce with growing kids. If you’re busy and just want to drop your things off for me to sort beforehand, I’m more than happy to do so!! Please keep condition in mind, clothes do not have to perfect but should be in good condition for school and such. I will have a designated spot specifically for play clothes (holes, major stains, worn out knees, etc) because I know many of us loving having worn in clothes for outside play!
You can take your leftover clothes home at the end of the day of course OR I will be storing any donated leftovers in my basement to disburse as needed to our local unhoused community 🩷 I’m so excited to give this a go!! I’ll have refreshments to share that day, come ready for some parent chats and a fun day! Any parent is welcome, this is not a “mom” exclusive thing. If this becomes a huge event, I’ll be contacting our neighborhood church to borrow their gym instead!
