Spring Cake Picnic

A Pretty Sweet Picnic is back for a spring cake picnic.

This time, we’re gathering at the Claremont Colleges to welcome the season outdoors.

This is a cake picnic. Your ticket and a cake are your entry. Homemade or store-bought, simple or elaborate, all are welcome. Each cake is placed on a shared table, so everyone can take a slice and try a little bit of everything.

The setup is open and relaxed, with space to sit, walk around, and spend time with friends or meet new people.

Check-in opens at 11:30 AM and closes strictly at 12:00 PM. Late arrivals will not be admitted, and no refunds will be issued for missed check-in.

All proceeds from this picnic will go to Student Voices for Humanity’s Give Hope to Gaza fund.

Info: 1. Each guest must bring a cake. This is a mandatory cake picnic contribution plus ticket is your entry. 2. Cakes must be no smaller than 6 inches. 3. All ingredients must be halal. This means absolutely no alcohol, pork, or any of their byproducts. 4. All cakes must come with a label with allergens. Clearly indicate if your cake contains gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs, or other common allergens. 5. Label requirements: Use a label no larger than 2.5" x 3" that includes: Cake name and any details you’d like to share (e.g., flavor, story, origin, fun facts) 6. Sweet or savory, all cakes are welcome. 7. Every guest must have a valid ticket. No exceptions. 8. No tickets will be sold on-site. Tickets must be purchased beforehand. 9. Guests must be 13 years of age or older. 10. If you're under 13 and would like to participate, please contact us for special accommodations. 11. Everyone MUST be on time, doors close at 5:30 PM. No exceptions.

The event is designed for social and recreational purposes, and participation is at the sole discretion of the Participant. 2. No Mental or Financial Compensation The Participant acknowledges that participation in A Pretty Sweet Picnic is entirely voluntary and is not subject to any form of financial or mental compensation. The Hosts are not responsible for any expectations of reward, payment, or emotional restitution arising from participation in the event. 3. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability The Participant understands that participation in the event may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or other unforeseen circumstances. 4. We have the right to refuse entrance and participation to anyone who doesn't not comply with the rules of the agreement.
