Our planet is precious. Conservation isn’t just about picking up trash, it’s about knowing your environment, living sustainably, and protecting the plants and animals that call it home. Participants will hike through the park discovering native plants and animals and identifying competitors, plant some seeds with our volunteers, create keepsakes using natural plant dyes and dig into the world of worms and composting. These weekday programs are for school-aged children that must be accompanied by an adult. Meet in the Nature Center.
