About this Event
Let’s make this Spring Break one to remember! Join Caldwell County 4-H for three exciting days of adventure, creativity, and local exploration. Each event is limited to 20 participants to keep the experience fun, safe, and hands-on. Ages 8 and up are welcome (younger youth may attend with a parent/guardian who provides transportation , please contact us before registering).
Lenoir History Tour | April 7 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Step back in time as we explore the rich history of Caldwell County! Youth will enjoy a guided walking tour of Downtown Lenoir by Mayor Joe Gibbons, visit the Caldwell Heritage Museum, and explore the interactive “Our Story: The History of Caldwell County” exhibit. Participants should bring a packed lunch and a water bottle for the day.
Fair Crafts Workshop | April 9 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Get creative and start preparing for the Caldwell County Fair! Youth will design and create fun, fair-ready art projects while learning tips for entering items into the fair. This is a relaxed, floating event, a hands-on afternoon full of creativity, color, and fun with friends.
Spring Break Hike | April 10 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Join us for an outdoor adventure! Youth will enjoy a guided hike, explore nature, and learn about the outdoors while spending the day outside. This event is FREE. Please bring a packed lunch, a water bottle, and wear comfortable outdoor clothing and shoes. Location details will be shared with registered participants.
