The City of Ferndale’s Parks, Recreation, and Trails Advisory Board (PRTAB), in partnership with the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the installation of a new communication board at Star Park. This board supports accessible and inclusive communication, helping ensure children of all abilities can fully participate in park experiences.Following the brief ribbon cutting ceremony, PRTAB will host a Spring Break Bubble Playdate at Star Park. Families, community members, and kids at heart, are invited to stay and enjoy this free playdate, which will feature bubble stations set up throughout the park, toys and games, and plenty of opportunities for fun and play. The event will also include participation from the Whatcom Center for Early Learning.
