Camp hours: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Duration: Two weeks (10 camp days)

Program overview

This spring break camp is designed to provide children with a balanced day of creative learning, social interaction, and physical activity. Each day is centered around a specific theme to keep students engaged and curious. Activities integrate literacy, art, discussion, movement, and play, allowing children to explore ideas in multiple ways while building confidence and creativity.

Daily schedule framework

9:30 – 10:00 | Check-in and morning circle

Students arrive and settle in. The day begins with informal conversation, introductions, and a short group circle to introduce the theme.

10:00 – 11:00 | Storytime and discussion

Children read a theme-related book (displayed on screen or laptop). Teachers guide comprehension through questions, discussion, and short reflective activities.

11:00 – 11:20 | Snack break

11:20 – 12:20 | Craft activity

Students create a hands-on craft inspired by the theme and story. Materials may include colored paper, cardboard, glue, paint, thread, recycled materials, and decorative elements. Crafts are taken home at the end of the day.

12:20 – 12:30 | Free play

12:30 – 1:00 | Lunch

1:00 – 2:00 | Painting and visual art lesson

Children learn basic art techniques connected to the theme.

2:00 – 2:30 | Movement and wellness

Light stretching, guided movement, or group dancing to support physical activity and reset energy.

2:30 – 3:15 | Reflection and learning activity
