Spring Blooms at Sunset

S pring is Florida's growing season, with an array of flowers along the trails. From milkweeds to asters, oranges and magentas, the flora will not disappoint! Each flower has a name, a story, and a list of importances in the watershed. Let us discover their stories with former CREW Trust educator, Julie Motkowicz.

J ulie worked as CREW Trust's education coordinator from 2020 to 2023. She now works with Conservaation Collier managing preserves. She is self-proclaimed plant nerd, serving as the vice president of the Naples Native Plant Society and spending her free time following flowers.
