About this Event
Join Detroit Bird Alliance leader Nicholas Yerkes for a spring birding walk at Dodge Park. Many species can be seen at Dodge Park such as a variety warblers, vireos, and more. Located in the heart of Sterling Heights and running along the Clinton River, Dodge Park is an excellent place for enjoying nature.
There is also a great variety of trees at Dodge Park including Pawpaws, Hackberry, Black Walnut, Sycamore, Red Mulberry, and Blue Beech. Join us for a lovely walk in the woods!
TRIP DETAILS
Entry to the park is free. We will be hiking about 1.5 miles on a mostly paved trail. The park has bathrooms. Attendees will meet in the parking lot.
Attendees are encouraged to continue their day by enjoying the connecting trails into the Clinton River Park North.
