Spring Bird Walk

We will meet at the Glen Manor East entrance to the ravine. It is between the address 283 and 285 Glen Manor Road East. There is a noticeboard at the entry and signage about the ravine. The entry is east of the north end of Glen Stewart Park.

This walk will be a circular walk on an uneven path with tree roots, a boardwalk and on stairs, although the stairs can be optional. It will be less than 2 km. We will return to the Glen Manor Road entrance, or you have the option to finish at the Beech Avenue and Kingston Road entrance to the ravine (which requires stair climbing).

All levels of birdwatchers are welcome. Please bring your own binoculars, a field guide if you have one, or the apps Merlin, Ebird and iNaturalist on your phone. However, you can also just come and enjoy the Glen Stewart Ravine and come back another day with more equipment.

Washrooms are not available on the route, but there are nearby coffee shops on Kingston Road at the north end or Queen Street East at the south end.
