This concert honors the late Marilynn Seits and includes music and styles that spoke to Marilynn’s heart; you’ll hear Stella by Starlight, Ain’t Misbehavin’, I Got Rhythm, plus women composers which Marilynn championed. Jenna Jaffe has created a new piece, Marilynn NOW, with inspiration drawn from her close connection with Marilynn. And of course you’ll hear great classics, including the competition winner, Andrew Ning, performing Chopin’s Ballade No. IV. If you can’t attend the live concert, no problem.
