We will come together over a warm drink and learn to handcraft a woven basket, using ethically sourced raffia and wool.
Weaving is a slow and meditative practice, reminding us to be grounded and present. Each woven vessel is truly unique. No experience needed - open to beginners and also those wishing to revisit their weaving skills. This workshop is run on-site at Helena River Steiner School by a parent in our school community, Kelly Nichols, who is generously donating her time and knowledge.
From ages 7 and up - but children under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult and be participating in the workshop. Unfortunately, there is no space for younger children to be unsupervised. Please find alternative care for younger children. Each person requires their own ticket.
Open to everyone - please invite friends and family to come along!
