Step into warmth and exhale. As winter loosens its grip and the light slowly returns, these Spring Yin sessions offer a gentle invitation to thaw, soften and awaken from within. This nourishing, candle-lit somatic practice is designed to support deep rest while welcoming renewal, clarity and fresh energy as the seasons turn.Across two unrushed hours you’ll step out of the busyness of life and into your body, resting in supported, floor-based shapes that invite ease, circulation and subtle awakening through the tissues. With time, stillness and careful guidance, your breath, heartbeat and the calm, spacious atmosphere of the room do the work, helping you release what’s been held through winter and gently welcome what’s ready to emerge.
Expect a softly lit space with candles, fresh spring touches and flowers, creating a feeling of lightness, warmth and quiet optimism. Gentle music supports the practice without distracting, and plenty of props are available to help you feel fully held. You’re welcome to settle with blankets and an eye pillow if you wish, allowing muscles to soften, fascia to hydrate and the nervous system to settle while gradually re-energising. Postures are low effort and held with care, encouraging sensation, curiosity and ease rather than effort.
This is time deliberately marked for yourself, a seasonal pause to reconnect with your inner rhythms, away from screens, noise and obligation. A space to gently re-emerge, recalibrate and reconnect with what is beginning to grow.
Who it’s for: all levels and all bodies, especially anyone seeking slow rhythms, somatic awareness, nervous system nourishment and a soft, supported transition into spring.
