Join your fellow readers for a leisurely walk in the park while listening to your audiobooks to celebrate the beginning of Spring! We will meet at Tom Triplett Park, over by the tennis courts. You can walk with us as a group as we walk the trail around the park, or you can walk on your own if you prefer. This is a great event to bring family or pets to as well! You can listen to your audiobook the entire walk, or just part of it. After the walk we can hang out under the gazebo on the East end of the park. However you can also just head home after if you prefer. Just like with regular meetups, there is no pressure to socialize. Just get out and enjoy nature and a good book!
Make sure to wear comfy walking shoes, and bring sunscreen and bug spray if you need to. I do advise sticking to the walking path as there is a good bit of wildlife in the wooded areas. Don't forget your water!
