Attention Fellow Aerohawks: Please mark your calendars! We need all hands on deck for the Spring Ditch Clean-up along IWV and Hebl Ave. For those of you who may not be familiar with the ditch clean-ups, we do this as a club in the spring and the fall to fulfill our commitment to the City. It's a great way to show our appreciation to landfill management and their staff.This is also an excellent way to give back to the club and have a little fun in the process. Yes, getting together is actually fun. To make the job go fast and easy we need a minimum of 22 to 24 abled bodies workers to work in teams along the roadways.
If you aren't able to pick up trash, we can still use you. We need people to wrap bags, pick up bags along the road, toss bags on the trailer and tidy up the clubhouse. See details below:
We will gather at the clubhouse starting at 8:15a.m. for juice and donuts. (Bring your own coffee). Please plan to arrive no later than 8:45 so we can start on time. Family and friends of the Aerohawks are certainly welcomed as well. No experience necessary. We can do on the job training. 😉😁
We will divide up in groups and be in the ditches promptly at 9 a.m. The ditch clean-up should be done by 11. If you would like, throw an airplane in your vehicle and make a day of it!
So there you have it. We really need an excellent turnout to lessen the work load . Please consider giving a couple hours out of your day to help the club and show your appreciation. Thank you!
