FREE WINNIPEG EVENT!!Our Kids Clothing & Toy swaps are semi-annual events open to parents and caregivers in the Winnipeg area where folks trade unneeded toys and clothing for things useful to their growing family!
Here is how to participate:
1) Gather up your gently used children's clothes, footwear, toys, books, and baby items. Maternity clothes are welcome, too!
2) Sort clean clothes by size into LABELLED boxes or bags. Sort other items by category: footwear, maternity, baby equipment, toys, books, etc.
Categories/tables for clothing are: 0-6month, 6-12m, 12-18m, 18-24m, 24m/2t, 3t/4t (XS), 5/6 (S), 7/8 (M), 10/12 (L), 14/16 (XL), and maternity.
Additional spots for feeding (bottles, bibs etc), crib bedding, shoes, outerwear, books, and toys will be available.
3) Drop items off at Park City West Community Centre on the morning of April 25th, 2026 between 10:00 and 11:30 am. You'll be given a ticket to come back to 'shop'.
4) Doors to start swapping will open at noon (12pm). Line up before noon and come select some of the donated items for your family. Show your ticket to our greeters upon entry, and hold onto it to give it to them upon exit please. No re-sellers. Only one large toy item per family. Swap will run from 12pm to 2pm or so, but we suggest lining up for noon if possible.
5) Make a donation! Donations are important to cover rental costs and ensures swaps will keep happening.
6) Are you expecting you expecting a baby and have nothing to swap yet? Come join in, bring a reusable bag, and take away anything for newborns, 0-6 months! And we hope to see you at future swaps ❤️
