About this Event
Join us for a hands-on bonsai workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of shaping and caring for your own living work of art. Guided by bonsai enthusiast Mike Simmons of the Mid-Michigan Bonsai Club, each participant will select their own plant and spend the day learning how to prune, shape, and nurture it into a bonsai.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll receive practical instruction on bonsai techniques while working directly on your tree. All essential materials are provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own tools if they have them. Best of all, you’ll take home the bonsai you create during the class.
Lunch is included, making this a relaxed, immersive day focused on creativity, patience, and learning the craft of bonsai.
