Albutat Alqabiha and Spiral Studio present: the Spring 2026 Bangor Community Belly Dance Hafla!Join us for a day of belly dancing, entertainment, community, and food, for the 1st ever hafla at Spiral Studio! This event is open to belly dancers and anyone interested in dance. What is a hafla? A fun celebration, a time to gather as a community, and a chance to share the art of belly dance.
Schedule:
♡ 11am - 12:30pm: Belly dance workshops: Opening your Heart with Jen, Shimmy Drills with Jasmine, Play & Empower with Sarah, & Introduction to Zills with Lori. 💜
♡ 12:30pm - 1:15pm: Break for vendors and performance prep
♡ 1:15pm - 2pm: Performances
♡ 2pm - 3pm: Social Hour: open dance & refreshments 🥰
Admission: Donations only/pay what you can. Your presence is what matters the most.
*All donations will be split 50/50, between the Spiral Studio Scholarship Fund and the Albutat Alqabiha Hafla Fund.
