Singer CLEO is one of the most exciting newcomers on the German jazz and pop scene.
With her unmistakable voice, which sounds as velvety and spicy as chilli, she delights her audience and displays impressive virtuosity.
At the age of eleven, CLEO was already on stage as the lead singer of her family's band. At the age of 15, she immersed herself in traditional jazz in New Orleans and learnt from renowned musicians. During her jazz studies, she worked with pianist Jan Luley's trio and released the album ‘Let Them Talk’, which was honoured with the German Record Critics' Quarterly Award.
Her second album, ‘Celebrating Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass’, was released in 2020. In 2022, she made a name for herself in the pop genre with her own composition ‘Dare To Dream’.
She is currently focussing on her new alternative pop band FiNDiNG CLEO, which released its first single ‘Alike’ in May 2024. CLEO's musical journey is characterised by passion and dedication - a talent that will continue to cause a furore. 🎸
