About this Event
Welcome to Sporting Horizons - Exporting Australia's Sporting Culture to the UAE!
Bringing together Australian sports facilitators (Soccer and Australian Rules Football) and the Lebanese Muslim Association, this project launches a pioneering summer program in the UAE for local female and male youth. Designed to blend sports, cultural exchange, and community unity, the program led by skilled Australian facilitators aims to foster teamwork, skill-building, and mutual understanding. Operating during the summer, it utilises local sports facilities to encourage inclusive participation.
Each day involves an Australian Rules Football clinic, Soccer clinic, and a Leadership workshop.
This exciting event will be held at the Australian International School DXB, where we will delve into the rich world of Australian sports and how it can be shared with our friends in the UAE.
The event is funded by Council for Australian-Arab Relations (CAAR), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
