About this Event

Join Brooklyn Greenway Initative for an outdoor sunset screening of Ghostbusters on Saturday, October 4th, at the Naval Cemetery Landscape as our kickoff to an October series of events. There will be light concessions offered, or bring your own. Seating will be available, or bring a blanket or mat to sit on the boardwalk. This event is family friendly but note that dogs are not allowed (the NCL is a cemetery and bird habitat) and there are no ADA bathrooms on site (portajohn only). Costumes optional but encouraged.

About the film: A group of scientists form a company for "ghost control" in mid-80s NYC. When a portal to another dimension opens they're called upon to save the city from the evil force inside. A classic!

Location

Naval Cemetery Landscape. Enter at 61 Williamsburg St West between Kent and Flushing Avenues.

Transit: We are located on the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway and offer bike parking on site!

There is no parking lot for cars on site but street parking is nearby on Kent Avenue or Williamsburg Street West near Steuben Park.

If putting in directions in a GPS app / taking Uber or Lyft - we recommend inputting the GPS Pin of Kent Ave + Hooper Street and being dropped off there. While on Kent, make a right on Williamsburg West Street via foot. Google Maps does not take you to the entrance to the NCL if you add the NCL's address as your location. We're working to address this issue and appreciate your patience.
