Step into the dark, weird and wonderful world where history meets science at our event; Spooky Science, History, and Mysteries. Perfect for curious minds of all ages, this interactive experience will challenge what you think you know about medicine, the body, and bones inside you.
Activities will be throughout the space to engage, entertain and fascinate!
✨ “Can You Believe It?”, a lively true-or-false game that will have you racing across the room as we explore bizarre medical beliefs from the past. Did people really think garlic could cure the plague? Find out what's fact and what's fiction!
🧫 At “It’s Alive!”, see real-life examples of squirming medical practices - some still used today. From maggots, leeches, and rats to probiotics in your morning yogurt, medical treatments have always been lively, if not alive.
😷 “Make Your Own Plague Mask”—a hands-on craft that’s both creepy and educational. The hottest fashion of the Black Death, this mask will be wearable, and packed with all the sweet smelling herbs you’ll need to hit the cobblestone streets.
🎉 And more!
This event is weird, wild, and 100% real science. Join us for a day of discovery, laughs, and a little bit of the unexpected.
