About this Event
A family-friendly musical presentation featuring the neurodiverse cast of Area Stage's Inspire Theatre Project performing musical numbers from the sold-out production of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical.
Presented through Area Stage Conservatory’s Inspire Theatre Project (ITP), the program brings together live music, movement, and theatrical performance in an energetic showcase designed for audiences of all ages.
Established in 2014 by Executive Director Maria Banda-Rodaz, ITP offers adaptive and specially designed performing arts education for students ages five through adulthood, including training in voice, dance, acting, and full-scale musical productions across Miami-Dade County. While centered on high-quality arts instruction, the program also emphasizes creativity, collaboration, confidence-building, and community through inclusive theater experiences.
This special presentation highlights the talent, personality, and stage presence of the ITP cast through selections from one of Broadway’s most recognizable contemporary musicals, creating a lively and welcoming experience for families, children, and theater audiences alike.
