Save the date! Spokane Zine Fest 2026 will take place at The Central Library on Saturday, May 30th. Spokane Zine Fest is a one-day public event in downtown Spokane celebrating zines, small press and self-published books, comics, drawings, prints, cards, and all manner of other limited edition works. Historically, zines were a tool to create and serve communities outside of mainstream culture, and our goal is to be as inclusive of as many types of creators and works as possible, and to provide an environment that fosters community-building for non-traditional artists.
In 2026, we are continuing our Workshop program, consisting of a series of free workshops led by artists and writers known for their singular approach to creativity, artistry, and community building. These workshops are designed to share skills, foster collaboration, draw attention to alternative art creation methods, and grow our vibrant arts community and provide a greater sense of inclusion within the Spokane arts scene.
Spokane Zine Fest was founded in 2016 by local artists and writers Ian Amberson and Chelsea Martin and is now run by Spokane Public Library.
