We’ve got DJ beats echoing across the water 🎧, summer inflatables cruising around the pool 💦, games and challenges running all evening 🎯, volleyball setup for anyone keen to jump in 🏐, and awesome spot prizes up for grabs 🎁.
Entry is just $5 for everyone.

Our Community Pools Splash Bash parties are all about celebrating the end of each school term with a burst of fun, music, and good vibes - and everyone’s invited.
These events happen on the last Saturday before the school holidays each term, and the party rotates across our Community Pools: Freyberg (or Thorndon), Tawa, Karori, and Keith Spry.
Each venue brings its own flavour, and every Splash Bash feels a little different - but always full of energy.
For 2026, here are your Splash Bash dates with pool locations to be confirmed: 28 March (Thorndon Pool), 27 June, 19 September, 12 December
