Dear Community Members, Single Parents, Local council and Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Ms Francess H Massaquoi, Founder and Director of SPLAOCH Care Foundation, a community-led organisation dedicated to supporting single parents living with long-term health conditions or disabilities, along with their children and young carers.
We are warmly inviting you to join us at our upcoming multi-agency Safeguarding & Early Intervention Panel Roundtable, where we will be bringing together frontline professionals, community partners, and advocates to have honest, solutions-focused conversations about the families we aim to serve.

TOGETHER, WE WILL EXPLORE:
• Early intervention before families reach crisis point
• The challenges of parenting through illness or disability
• Childhood trauma and how we prevent it• The hidden responsibilities carried by young carers
• Barriers to timely, joined-up support
• How statutory and community services can work better together
OUR SHARED GOAL
We are developing a wraparound early intervention model that steps in before families reach crisis, complementing existing safeguarding systems and filling the gaps that so many of our families fall through.

This event also marks 3 years of SPLAOCH’s awareness and advocacy work, as we prepare to move into full-service delivery.
