A bourbon benefit for Cape Fear River Watch

On Friday, March 6, 2026, join us at the historic Brooklyn Arts Center in Wilmington, NC, for an evening of bourbon, food, music, and community — all in support of Cape Fear River Watch and their mission to protect and restore the Cape Fear River Basin.

This exclusive event celebrates the release of “Hometown Honey,” a Maker’s Mark Private Selection created in partnership with Front Street Brewery, Brooklyn Arts Center, and Cape Fear River Watch. Maker’s Mark Master Distiller Blake Layfield will be in attendance, sharing insights about bourbon craftsmanship, sustainability, and the story behind this special barrel.

Guests will enjoy:

Bourbon: Taste and learn about the Hometown Honey Private Selection, as well as other Maker's Mark expressions.

Music & Food: Local flavors and live performances inside the Brooklyn Arts Center.

Silent Auction: Original artwork and one-of-a-kind local experiences contributed by regional artists and community partners.

Ticket Options

General Admission (125 available): Access to the evening’s music, food, silent auction, a curated gift bag, and eligibility to purchase one bottle of Hometown Honey at a designated ABC store.
VIP Experience (75 available): All of GA benifits, Early access to the event with a special Maker’s Mark North Carolina commemorative glass to welcome guests with a signature pour. Enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres, a fresh oyster bar, and an intimate meet and greet with Master Distiller Dr. Blake Layfield and regional Maker’s Mark representatives before the main event begins. VIPs also receive early access to the silent auction.

⚠️ Important Note: Ticket purchase does not include a bottle. Each ticket holder will be authorized to purchase one bottle per ticket at the designated ABC store. Pickup details and a potential bottle signing with Blake Layfield on March 7 will be announced closer to the event.
