Spirit of the Beehive is a Philadelphia experimental indie rock band known for twisting shoegaze, psych rock, noise pop, and glitchy electronics into surreal, collage-like songs that constantly shift shape. Formed in 2014 by former Glocca Morra member Zack Schwartz alongside Rivka Ravede, the band broke through with acclaimed albums like Hypnic Jerks and Entertainment, Death, earning praise for their unpredictable, genre-warping sound and touring with artists including Japanese Breakfast, Alex G, Ride, and Dry Cleaning.
