Join Spirit of Freedom and Citizens of the Reef for a unique opportunity to contribute to marine conservation. This special expedition is part of the Great Reef Census, a citizen science initiative aimed at collecting vital data to support the health and management of the Great Barrier Reef.
Throughout this journey, you'll dive into some of the most remote and rarely visited sites along the Ribbon Reefs. Your mission: capture reconnaissance images that fill critical data gaps, aiding scientists and conservationists in understanding and protecting this natural wonder.
🐠 Dive Experience
- Recommended Certification: Open Water to Experienced Divers
- Minimum Experience: 10 ocean dives, including 5 within the last 12 months
- Dive Style: Buddy teams plan and conduct their own dives; no full guided dive service provided
