Imbolc, which translates to 'in the belly', refers to the stirrings of life in Mother Earth's womb - and also within us. It's a mark on the wheel of the year when the strengthening sun awakens nature and inspiration stokes our inner spark. This year Imbolc arrives with a fiery full moon in the heart-centered sign of Leo, offering us even more energy to shine our light.
During Aquarius Season we begin to notice that the days are indeed getting longer. What is now commonly known as ‘Groundhog Day’ arrives, Valentine's Day shares the love, and we welcome the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. All of these observances encourage us out of hibernation for a breath of fresh air and to raise our vibrations. Eclipses are just around the corner, which promise to close and open more doors, get us out of our comfort zones, and launch us towards our destiny.
