Who this workshop is for?
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to slow down and connect with the calming tradition of basket weaving. Whether you're new to weaving or just seeking a creative escape, I’ll guide you through the process of making a small, functional basket using raffia — no previous experience required.

What we’ll create?
In this 4-hour workshop, you’ll learn the basics of basket weaving, including how to create the 'starter circle,' build the core, and finish the weaving process. The result? A beautiful, handmade basket that you can use for years to come.

The focus of this workshop is not just on crafting, but on embracing the slow art of weaving to help ground yourself in the present moment. As we weave, you’ll have the chance to connect with others in a relaxed and supportive environment, surrounded by the tranquility of the hills.

All materials are provided: raffia, tools, and, of course, delicious local treats and a selection of teas to keep you refreshed. Plus, you’ll be joined by the company of two adorable pooches, adding to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Workshop Details:

• Held at my home studio in the scenic Uraidla, just 20 minutes from Adelaide city.
• Limited to 12 participants for a personalized experience.
• Tea, local treats, and the company of two adorable dogs are included!
• The workshop runs for 4 hours, giving you plenty of time to unwind and create at your own pace.

• Bookings are essential, as space is limited. This workshop is designed for adults, though confident older children are welcome.
• A minimum of 4 participants is required for the workshop to proceed. If the class is canceled, a full refund will be issued.
• The maximum group size is 12.
