A relaxed, social conversation for people who enjoy reading and connecting without the pressure of a traditional book club.
Some stories don’t end when the book closes. They follow us into who we are, who we protect, and who we allow ourselves to become.
Join Spine + Glass, a small, intimate book-and-wine gathering, for a thoughtful conversation around The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, a novel about ambition, love, reinvention, and the private truths we carry beneath the public version of ourselves.
This is not a literary lecture.
You do need curiosity, openness, and a willingness to talk about the things we don’t always say out loud.
We’ll explore themes like:
- Identity vs. image
- Desire, self-preservation, and ambition
- The roles we play to survive
- What we owe ourselves—and what we give away
Wine will be flowing, conversation will be guided but organic, and you’ll leave with something to carry forward—your own afterword to the story.
