It’s on again. One of the most iconic events in Fremantle, Spinal Flow Sound Experience.Presented by Si Mullumby & Cam Watkins this is a gentle yet powerful movement practice followed by a deep resonant lay down immersion in the sound of the didgeridoo.
P A R T O N E
Opening the evening Cam Watkins leads us in a foundational moment practice where we align with a gentle easeful way of being. Figure eight infinity shaped head movements inspire the cervical vertebrae to loosen before these quiet ripples radiate throughout our spines to the far reaches of our bodies.
Cam is a humble leader with a great gift to share. Musically backed by Si Mullumby, this one-hour Spinal Flow session is graceful, light hearted & uplifting. It inspires beautiful proprioceptive feelings in our bodies as we explore the many epic shapes that this practice presents.
P A R T T W O
After our bodies are rinsed out and charged with good energy, it’s time to lay down and explore the practice of having no practice.
Enter the state of empty fullness.
Si Mullumby creates a profound resonance using a super low Sound of Hemp breath instrument in the key of B flat. This instrument carries the most extraordinary vibration that shakes the walls and wooden floor of this old Fremantle Hall.
It’s a visionary kind of resonance that holds space for non-ordinary experiences.
This is a powerful experience being held in suspended animation by the sound of the didgeridoo as played by one of the world’s great players, Si Mullumby.
T h e E n d
The evening closes. Everyone is free to go without the need to say goodbye to anyone else or feel tied to the usual conscious & subconscious formalities of leaving.
The combination is a powerful reset for the being and it is important to take gentle integration time and not blow unneeded words into the atmosphere.
It’s time to go outside and sit or to spend a bit longer on the floor before heading out the Door.
This is about prioritising the good feeling and bringing it safely home with you.

More about Si Mullumby’s Sound Experience . . . . .
Perhaps better known for his multi-instrumentalist didge & drums self; Si’s secret power is in his ability to hold deep space for people in the realm of sound experiences.
Utilising very deep Sound-of-Hemp instruments, Si delivers a uniquely powerful resonance that shakes every molecule of our beings whilst nurturing and enriching the subtle aspects of who we are.
Si holds a space for non-ordinary experiences.
One of the most influential didgeridoo players in the world, Si’s playing is respected in indigenous and non-indigenous circles in Australia and around the world.
As a younger man, Si quit studying medicine at the University of Western Australia to hitch-hike into the Australian outback and be a didgeridoo player before he even knew how to play the instrument. Years later Si was the only non-indigenous didgeridoo player to be featured in the Sydney Olympics didgeridoo documentary, Yidaki. After this, he was invited to Arnhem Land by a high elder for personal teaching.
He has gone on to tour the world many times over playing many of the world's largest festivals with his band Wild Marmalade. A modern day pioneer of the deep vibrations!
