About this Event
Some of your vinyl collecting dust? Been hunting for that rare, impossible‑to‑find record? This is your moment. To celebrate Season 2 of What Do I Do with This—the Nine PBS digital series all about sustainability—Nine PBS is hosting a record swap and community celebration. During the first glimpse of episode 1, we'll explore what happens when vinyl records are spinning again, DVDs still fill our shelves, and family memories are trapped on aging tapes and discs. But as streaming takes over, what happens to all that old media? In this episode, host Brooke Butler explores the surprising resurgence of physical media, the environmental footprint of streaming, and how to preserve your personal archives.
Bring the records you’re ready to part with and come discover something new. Swapping keeps great music in circulation and supports a circular economy instead of a disposable one.
Celebrate with us!
