SPENDO is a hard-hitting five-piece rock band hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia. Crowned “Best in Vancouver” by Live Acts Canada, SPENDO is turning heads with their big hooks and catchy melodies. Sharing a love for modern & classic rock, each member brings a unique, feel-good vibe that takes you back to a timeless era. Big five-part harmonies are driven by a blend of powerful guitar riffs, rich organ chords, in-the-pocket basslines, and explosive drumming. Their live performances consistently deliver a tight, engaging, and rock & roll-filled show that leaves their audiences craving more.
Writing new material and recording with Canadian producer Danny Craig (Default, One Bad Son), this partnership has culminated in their seven-track EP "The Great Unknown" and a recent set of singles including “Standing In The Rain”, "This Feeling" and “Still Here”. Backed by new music, SPENDO is selling out headline shows (The Red Room, The Wise Hall, The Blue Grotto, The Effie Arts Collective) and playing large festival stages (Barnside Harvest Festival, Rock The Lake, Monashee Music Festival, Harper Mountain Oktoberfest) alongside acts such as Sam Roberts Band, Sloan, Finger Eleven, Big Wreck, Hotel Mira, Jesse Roper, Collective Soul, Prism, and 54-40.
Fueled by the momentum of their recent growth, SPENDO is only just beginning their journey into The Great Unknown.
TROPHY DAD - Forged through pain, suffering and countless hardships, this band of misfit toys chose to utilize playing high energy rock shows as therapy… Mainly because it was the closest thing to therapy they could afford ultimately proving that tough times don't last but the people do. These good time rock and rollers might break a heart or two but promise to put it back together in 4 chords or less.
