Spencer LaJoye: To the World // A Holiday Concert

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin lately, you’re not alone. The world can feel heavy, especially this time of year. Joy—real joy—can feel out of reach.

So we're doing what we can to bring joy back. Spencer LaJoye, anyway.

On Thursday, December 12, at 7:00 p.m., we’re gathering at the Evergreen Campus of The Local Church for Spencer LaJoye: To the World — an honest holiday concert with surprising joy for a weary world.

Spencer’s a queer indie-folk artist who tells the truth about how hard things can be. But somehow, there's hope in it. If you've heard their song, “Plowshare Prayer,” then you get it.

So come. Bring your people. Let’s sing a little, breathe a little, and lean into joy as an act of resistance.

Tickets are pay-what-you-can (suggested $15–$20). But we've got free tickets available, too. We don't want cost to be a barrier to experiencing joy in this season. Come as you are. Bring your people. This is going to be good.
