Have you ever been curious about spellwork but weren’t sure where to begin?
Join us at Cauldron & Thorne for a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop where we’ll explore the foundations of spellcasting and the “why” behind magical practices.
In this workshop, we’ll talk about how spells actually work and how tools like candles, herbs, and crystals can support your intention. You’ll learn the basic structure of spellwork so you can confidently begin creating your own rituals at home.
During the class we will practice three simple and important forms of magic together:
• Clearing and cleansing energy
• Protection magic
• Grounding and stabilizing your energy
This class is designed to be approachable and welcoming for beginners. Supplies for students are included in class pricing - each student will receive a take home kit with candles, crystals & herbs - to allow you to recreate the spell at home when you are ready.
The final portion of the day will be open grimoire and journaling time. Bring a notebook, journal, or scrapbook if you’d like to record your spells, reflect on what you learned, or simply enjoy connecting with others in the community. Hang out and meet other like minded people.
Participants will leave with:
• foundational knowledge of spellcraft
• simple rituals you can repeat at home
• written instructions for your grimoire
Whether you’re new to witchcraft or simply curious about how spells are created, this workshop is the perfect place to begin. See you in class!
