Austin's Best Bartender Showdown Is Finally Here
8 bartenders. 1 city champion. $500 on the line — and a shot at the $1,500 state title.
After weeks of competition and high-stakes qualifiers, the top 8 speed bartenders in Austin are heading into the ultimate test: a double-feature night of creativity, precision, and pressure.
If you’ve never been to a SpeedRailz main event, this is the one to experience.
🥃 Two Rounds. One Champion.
Round 1: Craft Cocktail Showdown (Pre-Event 5:30-7pm)
Each bartender presents an original cocktail built around our featured sponsor spirit. Drinks will be judged on:
- Creativity & concept
- Flavor & balance
- Presentation & storytelling
Judges will score each drink live — and the top performers earn an edge going into Round 2.
Round 2: Speed Tournament Bracket (Starts at 7:30 PM Sharp)
This is sudden death, 1v1. Bartenders don’t know the drink order until the MC says GO.
- They flip the ticket.
- They build the drinks.
- The fastest and cleanest wins.
- Each round - One bartender advances. One goes home.
Referees will be on-site monitoring recipe accuracy, cleanliness, and mechanics. No second chances.
🏆 What’s at Stake
- $500 Cash Prize for the winner
- Automatic qualification into the Texas State Finals, where they’ll compete for an additional $1,500 prize
- Media collaboration opportunities for the winner and their venue.
- Bragging rights as the fastest bartender in Austin

- General Admission is FREE with RSVP until a until midnight September Sept 6th (beginning of that Saturday) to incentivize early sign ups so we can plan appropriately
- Industry professionals, bar owners, friends, and fans are all welcome
