Making friends as an adult is hard — so we made it easier (and way more fun).Speed Friending is a low-pressure, craft-friendly way to meet new people in a welcoming, creative space. You’ll be seated with others and given a coloring sheet to work on while guided, easy-to-answer questions help spark conversation naturally. No awkward small talk, no forced mingling.
The event flows through three relaxed rounds, starting with light icebreakers and gradually moving into deeper conversations — including favorite Rochester spots and things you’d actually want to do with a new friend. Afterward, stick around to keep chatting, keep crafting, or just enjoy the space.
Instead of the awkward “can I put my number in your phone?” moment, you’ll have connection cards available throughout the event. Fill them out at your own pace and share them with people you click with. Each card includes space for your name, what you’re looking for, how to reach you, and a personal note.
Come solo, come curious, and leave with a few new connections — or at least a really good coloring page.
