About this Event
Speed Friending Brooklyn is exactly what it sounds like: structured hangouts for people who want to expand their crew. Whether you just moved here, your college friends all coupled up and disappeared, or you're just tired of the same four people—let's fix that.
Bring a book you love (or grab something new from Books Are Magic), and we'll do 10-minute speed rounds to find your people. Into sci-fi? Memoirs? Cookbooks? Whatever—just come ready to talk about it. And drink one drink (one drink minimum, required.)
Where: Saturday Feb 21, 6pm-8pm Strong Rope Gowanus, 574A President St (between 3rd and 4th Aves), Brooklyn, NY 11215. The closest subway station is the (R train), which is a very short walk away, or the (F, G, R trains).
Rounds start at the top of the hour. Get here early to show us your book , register and get your name tag! See you there.
