Introducing Sheffield Speed Dating at Manahatta – Our Newest Event!
A brand new speed dating night has arrived in Sheffield, and it’s taking place at the vibrant Manahatta. This friendly, social evening is designed to help you meet new people in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
You’ll meet around 15–20 other singles, with each mini date lasting four minutes, just long enough to sense a spark while keeping the evening lively and fast paced.
The next day, you can log in to our website to see any mutual matches. From there, you’ll be able to chat privately and easily arrange your in person dates.
Manahatta's central location makes it an ideal spot to enjoy a drink or continue your night out once the event wraps up.

Important information
- Doors open 7.00 pm
- Event starts 7.30 pm
- Speed dating finishes approximately 9.30 pm
- Venue closes 11 pm
It’s essential that you arrive before 7.25 pm in order to take part. We might not be able to allow entry if you are late.
How it works
When you arrive at the best venue in town you’ll be met by our friendly host. After a quick introduction explaining the night, you'll be straight onto your first date.
Each date will last around 4 minutes, the perfect amount of time to get to know someone and not that long to just have a chat, if not.
Girls stay at the same table throughout the evening and guys move around the room.
The following day you can select your matches, 'yes' 'no' or 'friend' and by 5pm you'll find out who you've matched with and be off on a date in no time. It's really that simple.
We'll have a short break halfway through for you to top up your drinks.
After the event
Once everyone has met everyone your host will round up the event but that doesn't mean the night is over, there will be plenty of time to chat some more after the event.
