Original Dating is thrilled to continue bringing our top‑quality speed dating events to Doncaster, all set in the brilliant atmosphere of Highfield Coffee Social. From coffee to alcohol, they do it all!
You’ll meet up to 20 like‑minded people through a series of fun, four‑minute dates, just the right amount of time to know whether you’d like to see someone again.
Once the event wraps up, you’ll get access to our online matching system, where you can discover who you’ve mutually matched with and reconnect with anyone who caught your eye.

- Doors open 7.00pm
- Event starts 7.30pm
- Speed dating finishes approximately 9.30pm
- Venue closes 10pm
It’s essential that you arrive before 7.25pm in order to take part. We might not be able to allow entry if you are late.
How it works
When you arrive at the venue you’ll meet our friendly hosts. We’ll briefly explain the format of the event and you’ll be straight into your first date.
You’ll have 4 minutes to meet and briefly get to know each person. We’ve found that 4 minutes is just long enough to find out if you'd like to see someone again but not too long if you don't.
Girls stay at the same table throughout the evening and guys move around the room.
After meeting each person, you need to decide if they are a ‘yes’ a ‘no’ or a ‘friend’ and jot down any notes to help you remember them. You'll find out who you matched with the next day and you can message your matches via our app or website.
We'll have a short break halfway through for you to top up your drinks.
After the event
The speed dating is over when you’ve met everybody, but this is often when the fun really starts. Most people stay at the bar for a drink and get to know the people they liked a little better.
