Speed Dating (55 - 65 year olds)

A relaxed, friendly way to meet lots of single people in one night!

When you hear speed dating, it can sound a bit intense and maybe even a little daunting.

But the reality?

It’s just a room full of single people in the same position as you.

• Some have been single a while.
• Some are newly single.
• Some haven’t dated in years.

Everyone is simply there to chat, meet new people, and see what happens.

We’ve been running these events for over a year and a half now, and we sell out almost every single time.

That means on the night, you can expect:

* Around 16–18 men and 16–18 ladies

This isn’t one of those events where you turn up, and the numbers are off. We carefully manage the balance so everyone gets the same experience.

When you arrive, you’ll check in and have a chance to settle in with a drink.

We start by giving everyone a time to chat casually in same-gender groups, so you can relax before the dating begins.

Then the evening is split into two halves:

* You’ll have 4 minutes per date

* With 1 minute in between to make notes

* You’ll meet everyone of the opposite sex

It’s just enough time to get a feel for someone without any pressure.

At the end of the night, you simply hand in your card and let us know who you’d like to see again.

If they’ve chosen you too, we’ll send you both each other’s phone numbers the next day.

No awkwardness. No pressure. No asking for numbers on the spot.

Info: You need to arrive by 7.15pm so we can start on time. Entry is not guaranteed if you arrive late. When you arrive, you will be introduced to the other attendees - men will meet the men in one bar and ladies will meet the ladies in another area (you will need to get a drink, ladies, before heading to the area I will set aside for you).

Info: There will be a break half way through where you can get drinks and use the bathroom
