It’s natural to feel a bit anxious. My best advice: Be curious. Being curious lightens the mood, eases nervousness, enhances conversations, and lessens the focus on yourself. I will be hosting, helping everyone feel at ease. Also, we'll kick things off with an icebreaker, it involves no public speaking, and is sure to make you smile.

• What happens if I don’t get any matches?

While my hope is that everyone finds a connection, not every pairing will be perfect. Be assured, this event has proven again and again to be an enjoyable social experience regardless of the outcome.
