Specialized Rehabilitation Techniques Limb Lengthening & Deformity Course

Topics will include the history and evolution of limb lengthening, tenets of limb lengthening with external and internal fixation, presentation of conditions treated with deformity correction and limb lengthening, muscle and soft tissue response to limb lengthening, pain and anxiety management, surgical management techniques, hospital-based and outpatient management of the lengthening patient, rehabilitation protocols, splint management and fabrication techniques. 

*2 optional days of observation are available for course participants November 17-18.Tuition includes participation in the educational program and handouts.
