After the workshops, it’s Candela’s First Friday dance party from 7 to 10 p.m. Your workshop ticket includes admission to the party!
Michael is one of the world’s best-known WCS dancers. He has been dancing since age 5, and began teaching and dancing competitively at 17. In addition to his Champion status at West Coast Swing, he teaches all of the American-style ballroom and Latin dances, as well as Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy and other dances.
He’s coming to the Rogue Valley as part of a multi-city tour to spread the word about Dance N Play, a convention happening in Bend this June (scroll down for more details).
He last came to Candela years ago, and we’re so excited to have him back!

Dance N Play is a West Coast Swing event that mixes dancing with outdoor activities and recreation. In addition to workshops, competitions and late-night dancing, there are a slew of other activities to choose from including whitewater rafting, stand-up paddleboarding, golf, hiking, volleyball and more.
Cheryl Lyons, the Dance N Play event director, will be at Candela for the Michael Kielbasa workshops.
