Join us for a film screening and panel discussion, moderated by filmmaker, journalist, and WTTW News anchor Brandis Friedman.
Brandis Friedman, a Dillard University Alumna and an anchor for Chicago Tonight on Chicago’s PBS station, WTTW, released a new documentary titled Opportunity, Access, & Uplift: The Evolving Legacy of HBCUs. This 30-minute documentary details the experience of five students from Dillard University, Delaware State University, as well as an account from a high school senior navigating the college decision process.
Please join us at The Aux Wellness Collective on February 7th, at 3PM. The impact and important history of HBCUs can not be understated. These stories are the framework for progression in improving higher education as a whole, and serve as a reminder to stay persistent and dedicated.
