Special Olympics Utah Health & Wellness Fair

Our fair is a full day, community event focused on delivering vital health screenings, activities, resources, and education to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their support networks, including family and caregivers. This event is open to all people with IDD, not just Special Olympics Athletes, of all ages. The event, all activities and food, are completely free! This will include a free lunch for all those in attendance. As part of the fair, you can receive the following services and participate in other exciting activities focused on building your health and wellness. All details can be found below.

Our health screenings are valuable health checks provided by incredible volunteer doctors and medical professionals who have been trained to work specifically with people with IDD. Not only are they caring and passionate, they are also some of the best in their respective fields. Being screened helps you to better understand and improve your health! We offer screenings in the following specialties:

• Medical Physicals
• Vision and Eye Health
  Includes free prescription glasses, if needed
• Dental and Oral Health
  Includes free fluoride varnish treatment
• Audiology Education (Hearing)
• Physical Therapy
  Includes fitness test
• Podiatry (Foot and Ankle)
  Includes free socks

After completing screenings, all participants will receive fun prizes like water bottles, stickers, fidget toys and more! There will also be a healthcare themed photo booth where you can take a Polaroid photo with your family and friends with a special Healthy Athletes photo frame! Click here for more information.
