Join us for a festive and unforgettable Holiday Paint-Your-Pet Workshop at District Dogs National Landing!
Led by talented artist and pet-lover Margaret Jacobson from the Museum of Contemporary Art, this hands-on class blends creativity, holiday cheer, and your love for pets. You’ll create a custom portrait of your furry friend—with the option to add fun, festive holiday touches like a Santa hat, snowflakes, holly accents, twinkly lights, or any seasonal detail you’d love to incorporate. Margaret will guide you step-by-step so you leave with a portrait that truly captures your pet’s personality and holiday spirit.
Each participant will paint on an 11x14 canvas, with all supplies included: easels, paints, brushes, aprons, and water buckets. Just bring yourself, your creativity, and a favorite photo of your pet.
How It Works:
Reserve Your Spot: Space is limited to maintain an intimate class size (max 15 participants). Early registration is encouraged.
Submit Your Photo: After registering, email a clear photo of your pet to Margaret at [email protected].
– When you email your photo, please also specify any holiday elements you want included (Santa hat, snowflakes, ornaments, holiday scarf, etc.).
Enjoy the Experience: Settle in, get festive, and watch your pet come to life on canvas with Margaret’s expert instruction.

About the Artist:
Margaret Jacobson is a dedicated instructor with a passion for both art and animals. When she’s not teaching or creating, she’s spending time with her own dog, Chewy. Margaret brings warmth, creativity, and a deep love for pets into every class.
