In this workshop you will learn a number of patterning techniques using colour and stitch variation to enhance your raffia baskets. Your special host is Kelly Evans from Ecosophy Sustainable Arts, who creates the most beautiful coiled raffia baskets. You will be using her gorgeous naturally dyed raffia during the workshop.Create an assortment of trinket bowls, a set of drink coasters or put it all together to create one big fabulous piece.
While beginners are welcome, you will get the most out of this workshop if you have some experience in the wrap stitch coiling technique.
