Each Poets Out Loud night presents a stand-out feature poet, plus a poetry slam and open mic for YOU to share your spoken-word creations.
Slam prize = $50 book voucher from Pulp Fiction Murwillumbah. Slam has a 2 min time limit, while open mic is non-competitive with 1 poem each. Get in from 6pm to sign up.

About the feature:
Matt Hetherington is a writer, music-maker, and moderately immoderate self-moderator. He has been writing poetry for over 40 years and has published seven collections. Current Inspirations are: raw garlic, vinyl played very loud through big black speakers, and the Corpse Pose.
His new collection is ‘About Alone Away’ (Walleah Press).
